Poltava football fans are unique. They do not go to the matches of “Vorskla” in the Ukrainian championship, completely ignored the team’s rather successful European Cup season. But as soon as this fact recalls someone from journalists, then immediately dumped a torrent of criticism for “daring to accuse them of lack of love for the team.” Moreover, such criticism often goes beyond the frame of morality and more like a hysterical justification of savinovskogo.

Indeed, Vorskla is loved and respected by up to 2 – 3 thousand people who go to the stadium for the team’s matches. But the stadium is 25-thousandth! And to say that for Poltava it is very big, too, is not necessary. Remember the period from 1996 to 1999. The situation was absolutely polar and 10-15 thousand people were at each game. Now – emptiness. The only good news is always filled with fans of the 22-th sector. And in Poltava there is an Autofan, which for each game accompany the bus with the players. That’s all. It seems that the rest of the city just do not need a team. Apparently so, and honorary team President Konstantin Zhevago, who, supposedly, next season will seriously cut funding team. The results of such a possible financial policy are visible now – the team left the head coach Nikolai Pavlov. The midfielder Roman Bezus and Paul Child, defenders Yevhen Selin and Alexei Kurilov.

Apparently, such a development could be predicted, and maybe Zhevago is better to invest in tennis ?. Poltava – a city where like football, but more at home, in front of the TV. It is a pity, but it seems that a couple of years of ignoring the team and we will remember with nostalgia that there was in the city one of the sixteen best teams in Ukraine. And this is a luxury, which by the way, can not afford most of the Ukrainian cities.
